My new piece “Skyggespill Vol.I” will be premiered 22nd June in the forest nearby Børsen Kulturhus in Tangen, Innlandet.

It’s a performative music piece, a wandering through the forest, a search for the end of Ariadne’s thread, a realization that we are currently in the midst of a huge and complex labyrinth, a journey into a slightly different world asking you to listen an see - really see.

Do you see the forest? Do you hear it? Who are you but just one species out of 25000, co-existing between the trees.

I love springtime. This morning I got up early, made coffee to take with me, and walked for two hours in the forest. Research and inspiration for my new piece “Skyggespill” that will premiere in June, but also just the best way to start a Tuesday in April. I had a brutal cold that lasted for several weeks, and now I’m finally back to my normal self, feeling happy and inspired, and looking forward to all that is to come! The short video above is from a show I played one week ago - a new piece called “I’m just me” - inspired by a memory from childhood, running around in the forest with a cape made of an old towel, wanting to be a knight.
